Situated at an Impressive Highest point. Elevation, 5,945 m (19,505 ft)., Adi Kailash also
referred to as Chota Kailash or Little Kailash is in one or the other way a replica of Mount Kailash in Tibet.
It is situated in the Indian Territory in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand within a proximity to the Indo-Tibetan border. In the quietude of the tranquil Kumaon Himalayas, Adi Kailash is a popular pilgrimage of the Hindu devotees. One can catch a glimpse of the emerald Parvati Lake and the Gauri Kund adorned on the very foot of Chota Kailash.
Om Parvat – Perched at an altitude of 5,945 meters is one of the mountains of the Himalayan mountain range. The mountain is also known by the name Little Kailash, Adi Kailash, Baba Kailash and Jonglingkong Peak. Owing to the pattern of snow settlement in the form of ‘Om’ or ‘Aum’ syllable, this peak holds religious significance in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.
Located in the vicinity of the Indian-Tibetan border, this mountain offers a splendid view of the snow-enveloped peaks of Annapurna. During Adi-Kailash yatra, travelers can enjoy the magnificent view of the river Kali, waterfalls, dense forests and Narayan Ashram.
Pickup from Delhi and drive to Kathgodam. Pick up from Kathgodam Railway Station in the morning and start the journey.
After breakfast drive to Kainchi Dham visit Hanuman Temple & Ashram which is established by a great saint Neem Karoli Baba in 1960s.
On the way visit Jageshwar Dham.

After breakfast Drive Kalapani then Nabhidhang to view Om Parvat.
Om Parvat is a mountain in the Pithoragarh district of uttarakhand. it is close to Adi Kailash.
Om Parvat holds sacred importance among the devotees of lord Shiva. The snow that falls on this mountain takes the shape of the symbol OM which is why it is one of the most visited pilgrimage places for the people all over the world. Om as a sacred symbol in the Hindu religion.

Day temperature will hover around 08 to 18 degree Celsius, while night temperature can go down to -05 and at some places less.
Adi Kailash and Kailash Mansarovar is different destination but both are Panch Kailash. Adi Kailash is in Indian Himalayas and Kailash Mansarovar is in Tibet. Both are holy mountains.
Due to the heavy snow fall inner line permit process is closed by administration in winter.
It’s a natural shape of Om on snow capped mountain. According to Hindu scripts, it’s a sign of high energy and creation.
From Kathgodam to Dharchula, it’s well connected road but from Dharchula to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat totally off-road. We used 4/4 transport for particular strech.
AMS is result of sudden exposure to reduced air pressure and lower oxygen level at high altitude.
General symptoms are Headache, Fatigue, Nausea, and Loss of appetite, sleeplessness, heavy
breathing. Descending down and inhaling oxygen can cure it faster. That is why we recommend to
spend at least two days in Leh, so that you get some time to acclimatize.
You don’t need to worry much about the professional gears much, they are built to sustain such
extreme weathers. For basic gears, just keep that battery at warm places.
